The Story
From operator
to advisor.
I spent 13+ years building customer success operations across five enterprise SaaS companies — InsightSquared, MindTouch, Acrolinx, Workiva, and Steerco. At each stop, the pattern was the same: build the function from scratch, scale it, and leave it better than I found it. Started as a practitioner, became a leader of global teams, and learned what actually drives retention, expansion, and sustainable growth.
That job taught me what AI implementation actually looks like from the inside. Not the vendor pitch. Not the conference keynote. The reality: most organizations struggle not because the technology isn't good enough, but because nobody owns the gap between the tool and the workflow.
"I've sat in the operator seat. I know what it costs when implementation fails — and I know what it looks like when it works."
In 2025, I founded Steerco Analytics — an AI platform for enterprise customer success teams. Raised capital, built 150+ native integrations, interviewed 250+ companies about AI adoption challenges. The pattern emerged quickly: at the enterprise level, the gap between tool and workflow was solvable with capital and engineering. But the conversations I kept having with local business owners told a different story.
Phoenix-area SMBs — medical practices, law firms, construction companies, real estate teams — were drowning in the same noise I'd seen at the enterprise level. Everyone telling them AI matters. Nobody showing them what it means for a 30-person business with no technical staff and a front desk that's already underwater.
That's why I started Rymalo Advisory. Local, practical, fixed-price AI adoption — for the businesses that actually build this region. Named for my three daughters: Ryan, Max, and Logan.
